Criminal case initiated in respect of “Agroleasing” OJSC

Anti-Corruption Department under the Prosecutor General has investigated the material received by the Chamber of Accounts regarding the illegal actions of officials of “Agroleasing” OJSC under the Ministry of Agriculture, reports APA with reference to the press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office.

The investigation revealed reasonable suspicions that the officials of the company grossly violated the requirements of relevant legislation on procurement illegally using state property and budget funds without the consent of the State Procurement Agency in 2011-2013, not fulfilling budget obligations, increasing business volumes and hiding debts from accounting.

Criminal case has been launched under articles 308.2 (abuse of power) and 313 (forgery) of the Criminal Code.

The investigation is underway on the fact.
