Border guards prevent drug smuggling

In course of the operations conducted by Azerbaijani border guards, smuggling of a large amount of drugs from Iran to the country was prevented, with reference to the State Border Service told APA.

The operations were conducted at the frontier post in the Bahramtapa settlement of Imishli region. Consequently, 7.8 kg of dried marijuana were withdrawn from circulation.

Present days the investigation is underway on the fact.
