Detained for blackmailing police officers

A man has been detained for blackmailing police officers over bribe-taking in Azerbaijan, APA reports.

On Oct.8, 2015, Ramal Aghammadov and Rauf Azimov, traffic policemen of the Bilasuvar district police office, reported to the management that Jalilabad district resident Khayal Amirov called them on Oct.6 and demanded money from them claiming that he has a videotape showing their alleged bribe-taking, the Interior Ministry said on Oct.9. 

As a result of the measures taken, Amirov was caught red-handed while taking AZN 3,000.
