Prosecutor seeks 4.5 years imprisonment for APFP chairman’s assistant

A court continued on Wednesday, 19 July 2017  the trial on the criminal case of Faiq Amirli, assistant to the chairman of the oppositional Azerbaijan Popular Front Party, director of Azadliq newspaper.

A judicial investigation was declared completed at the trial presided over by judge Ayten Aliyeva, APA reported.

Speaking at the trial, a state prosecutor asked the court to sentence Faiq Amirli for a period of 4.6 years in prison.

The trial will be resumed on July 24, 2017.
