According to Trend citing a statement of Ulvi Zulfugarov, a head of Investigatory Department of the State Customs Committee (SCC) of Azerbaijan, made him on the air of AzTV, a vehicle with big amount of the drugs has not entered in Georgia from the territory of Azerbaijan.

Zulfugarov noted that in July 2014 the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia disseminated information on detention of a vehicle with 2.8 tons of liquid heroin, which had ostensibly been delivered to the territory of Georgia from Azerbaijan.

“In result of examination conducted on initiative of the SCC it was established that transport means with drugs have not been entered in Georgia from territory of Azerbaijan. A vehicle, belonging to Georgia, was detained on 11 July last year in economic zone of the customs registration in Batumi”, – Zulfugarov said.

According to his words, the vehicle has had the cargo, which belonged to Turkish company that does business in Georgia and was intended for shipment to Moldova.

Turkey, Georgia and Moldova – all fraternal countries, but it is too hard for a sober mind to understand in the statements on drugs’ traffic.
