$150,000 worth of jewelry stolen

A theft has been committed in the Binagadi District of Baku, APA reports citing the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the country.

Thus, the victims who contacted the police reported that on December 31, 2021 – January 2, 2022, unknown persons stole 10,000 manats, jewelry worth 150,000 dollars and a wristwatch worth 15,000 manats from their house.

Police officers detained residents of Zagatala region Murad Allahverdiyev and Uveys Mammadov. They confessed to what they had done.

Jewelry and other items stolen by the said persons were found from them and confiscated as material evidence.

In fact, a criminal case was initiated in the investigative department of the Binagadi District Police Department under the relevant article of the Criminal Code. Operational and investigative activities are ongoing.
