The Prosecutor General’s Office released information about the soldier who killed his colleagues

Junior sergeant Elkhan Evezli, who killed servicemen of the State Border Service (SBS), was arrested as a preventive measure, APA reports quoting the country’s Prosecutor General’s Office.

In particular, the information of the General Prosecutor’s Office notes that on January 2, 2022, at about 18:00, a serviceman of the extended active military service of the border troops of the State Border Guard Service, junior sergeant Evezli Elkhan Mohammed oglu for unknown reason has shooted of lieutenant Ismailov Yusif Ismail oglu, junior warrant officer Jalilzade Amil Fuar oglu and junior warrant officer Ibragimov Rafail Natig oglu. The Investigation Department of the Military Prosecutor’s Office is conducting an investigation into a criminal case initiated on this fact.

E. Evezli was charged under Article 120.2.7 of the Criminal Code and, by the decision of the Fuzuli Military Court, a measure of restraint in the form of arrest was chosen against him.
