Participants of World War II received lump-sum allowances

As part of the implementation of the order of President Ilham Aliyev dated April 19, 2022, on the occasion of the 77th anniversary of the Victory in World War II, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population paid a one-time allowance in the amount of AZN 1,500 to each of the 81 participants in this war, APA reports.

In accordance with the order, a one-time allowance in the amount of 750 manats was also paid to the widows of those who died during the Second World War and who died later, to persons awarded orders and medals for selfless work in the rear during that period, to employees of special formations who carried out assignments in the name of the interests of the army and fleet within the combat zones of the fleets, persons awarded the appropriate medals and badges for the defense of Leningrad during the Second World War, as well as participants in the blockade of Leningrad, a total of 4233 people.
