Police arrested a group of people on suspicion of drug trafficking

Employees of the Criminal Investigation Department and the Department for Combating Drugs of the Khatai District Police Department detained 15 people on suspicion of drug trafficking in Baku, oxu.az reports citing the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Four of them carried out the supply of drugs, the remaining 11 were their couriers. Large amounts of heroin, marijuana, opium and methamphetamine were seized from the detainees.

During the investigation, it turned out that these persons contacted drug dealers through social networks and organized the sale of drugs in the capital.

On all revealed facts, criminal cases were initiated.
