Severe sentence passed on a female head of the company

Trial in a criminal case against Irana Talyshkhanova, president of Run Group, has completed, oxu.az reports.

At a meeting of the Baku Court of Grave Crimes  chaired by judge Rasim Sadikhov, a verdict was announced, according to which she was found guilty of the charges against her and sentenced to 9 years in prison.

I. Talyshkhanova is charged under article 178.3.2 (fraud committed with causing large damage) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan. 11 people, including Turkish citizens, were recognized as victims in the criminal case. Fraud was committed under the pretext of creating a business.
