A criminal case has been initiated on the fact of an attack by an unknown man on journalist Ayten Mammadova, oxu.az reports.

The incident occurred in the Binagadi district at the address: 9th microdistrict, Mir Jalal street, 11.

A. Mammadova was attacked in the entrance of the house. The man who entered the elevator behind her put a knife to her throat and demanded that she not cover some kind of trial, which he did not say.

The attacker wounded A. Mammadova and fled the scene of the crime.
