Officials of the State Tax Service beaten in Shamkir

The Shamkir District Prosecutor’s Office received information that on May 14, 2022, physical violence was used against the head of the department for monitoring the fulfillment of tax obligations of the 14th territorial tax department of the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy Anar Mammadli and the chief lawyer of the state registration and accounting department Emin Shirinov’s taxpayers, APA reports.
In fact, the Shamkir district prosecutor’s office initiated a criminal case under Art. 221.2.1 and 221.3 of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan.

The criminal investigation is ongoing.
