Disability assigned approximately 2,900 military personnel

Work is underway to assess the disability of servicemen who were wounded in the 44-day Patriotic War and underwent medical treatment, APA reports citing the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population.

After passing by these servicemen a face-to-face examination at the first stage, certificates issued to them by the ministries of defense and justice, military medical commissions of the Internal Troops and the State Border Service (documents confirming the connection of injuries or diseases with military service) and referrals from medical institutions (form 88) are entered into the electronic system.

After that, at the final stage, disability is determined by the State Agency for Medical and Social Expertise and Rehabilitation under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population.

In connection with the protection of the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, disability has been assigned to 2,885 servicemen who were wounded in the Patriotic War.

After assigning disability to them through the electronic system, monthly social payments (Presidential pension, pension, allowance) were proactively assigned, as well as lump-sum insurance payments were provided.
