Foreigners have been victims of fraud

Fraud against foreigners has been committed in Baku, the internet news portal report.az reports, citing the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Thus, a foreign citizen, who applied to the 10th department of the Garadagh district police department, reported that a certain man deceived him and took 100 manats from him.

As a result of measures taken by the police on suspicion of committing this act, a resident of Shirvan Aydin Ganbaev was detained. It was established that the detainee fraudulently took 440 dollars and a mobile phone from two other foreigners who worked as truck drivers, as well as a mobile phone from Zh. Sharifov, a resident of Baku.

The fact is being investigated.
