Pseudo-policeman detained for swindling money from citizens

A man was detained in Baku who approached citizens resting in the capital’s parks and, posing as a police officer, demanded money from them, oxu.az reports with reference to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan.

According to the information, the officers of the 18th police department of the Narimanov district police department identified this man. It turned out to be Rasul Aliyev (born 1987). He was held accountable. The investigation into this matter is ongoing.

Citizens who have suffered from the illegal actions of R. Aliyev are advised to report this by calling the Call Center 102 or by contacting the 18th police station of the Narimanov district police department
