Arrested head of supply and property department of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan was charged

It has become known what the head of the supply and property department of the Ministry of Culture of Azerbaijan, Ilkin Nasibov, who was arrested a few days ago, is accused of, oxu.az reports. He was charged with embezzlement on an especially large scale – Article 179.4 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

If I. Nasibov’s guilt is proven, he will face a sentence of imprisonment for a term of 10 to 14 years.

I. Nasibov was detained on November 1, 2022 during a special operation of the State Security Service at the Ministry of Culture. The Sabail District Court chose a measure of restraint against him in the form of arrest for a period of four months.
