Joint information of the Prosecutor General’s Office and the Ministry of Internal Affairs on an armed incident in a hypermarket in Baku

The Prosecutor General’s Office and the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of Azerbaijan have released joint information about the armed incident that took place in the Bravo hypermarket in the Khatai district of the capital, APA reports.

The information says that as a result of the activities carried out by the prosecutor’s office and employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, it was established that Rukhlan Ismailov, Dayanat Gudratov, Azer Mammadov and Sabuhi Gurbanov, who were in collusion, are suspected of committing a premeditated murder, attempted murder, robbery and illegal acquisition and storage of firearms, its component parts, ammunition.

Detained as a result of investigative measures as suspects, Dayanat Kudratov was initially charged under articles 120.2.1, 120.2.4, 120.2.11 29, 120.2.7 and other articles of the Criminal Code, Azer Mammadov and Sabuhi Gurbanov – under articles 32.5, 120.2 .1, 32.5, 120.2.4, 32.5, 120.2.11, 32.5, 29, 120.2.7 and other articles of the Criminal Code, a preventive measure in the form of arrest was chosen by a court decision.

Investigative and operational-search activities in the criminal case are ongoing.
