Drug smuggling from Iran to Nakhchivan prevented

On June 6, 2023, at 23:20, drug smuggling from Iran was suppressed in the service area of the outpost of the Nakhchivan border detachment of the border troops of the State Border Service (SBS) of Azerbaijan near the village of Kotam, Ordubad region, drug smuggling from Iran was stopped, oxu.az reports citing the press center of the SBS.

As a result of the operational-search activities, 31 kg of drugs were found.

On this fact, operational and investigative measures are ongoing.
