The court upheld the judgement against the director-bribery

The Supreme Court has completed consideration of the cassation appeal against the verdict of the ex-principal of the secondary school in the village of Shirinsu, Lankaran region, Zeynab Ahmedova, reports oxu.az. Cassation was rejected.

Earlier, the Lankaran Court of Grave Crimes sentenced the ex-director to 5 years of restraint of liberty (wearing an electronic bracelet). The measure of restraint in the form of police surveillance chosen against Z. Ahmedova must be maintained without change until the verdict enters into force. The public prosecutor, who disagreed with the verdict, filed an appeal, which was considered in the Shirvan Court of Appeal. By decision of the court, the verdict of the court of first instance was canceled.

Z. Ahmedova was sentenced to imprisonment for a term of 4 years and 6 months. She was arrested in the courtroom.
