The court sentenced the young man to 8 years for robbery

The trial of Elgun Ojagverdiyev, accused of threatening citizens and robberies, has been completed, oxu.az reports. At the trial held in the Baku Court of Grave Crimes under the chairmanship of Judge Eldar Ismayilov, prosecutor Fuad Musayev made an indictment speech and asked the court to sentence the accused to 9 years in prison. The lawyer spoke in defense, E. Ojagverdiyev was given the last word.

After the deliberation, he was sentenced to 8 years in prison.

It is noted that the previously convicted 19-year-old youth is accused of robbery, as well as of planting a grenade in one of the apartments in the Nasimi district of Baku.
