An investigation is underway into abuses by Internet providers

An investigation has begun into abuses by Internet providers. As reported by APA-Economics with reference to the State Service for Antimonopoly Control and Supervision of Consumer Markets, cases of establishing new tariffs for Internet services on a collective basis, the same prices for the same services (the same speeds and packages) have been identified, and this process is carried out by Internet providers operating in the country in an agreed manner.

The report notes that an investigation has been launched to prevent abuses and limit customer choice. The State Service has sent letters of inquiry to market participants, held a number of meetings, and requested relevant information.

Relevant legislative measures will be taken in accordance with the results of the investigation.
