Figures on persons who committed crimes in the first half of this year made public

In January-June of this year, 11,670 persons who committed crimes were identified, Trend reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan.

It is noted that 8,815 of them were brought to criminal responsibility. Of the registered crimes, 5,674, or 30.6 percent, were related to the illegal trafficking of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances.
