PACE inspectors are going to visit us

June 10, 2013 Co-rapporteurs of the Monitoring Committee of PACE Pedro Agramunt and Joseph Debono Grech will visit Baku – APA reports quoting of D. Grech.

In frame of the four-day visit co-rapporteurs will hold a series of meetings with Azerbaijani officials and representatives of civil society. The purpose of this visit is to monitor the implementation of Azerbaijan’s commitments to the Council of Europe.

According to D. Grech, the program of the visit is not yet agreed.

As is known, a report on Azerbaijan was represented by the co-rapporteurs of the Monitoring Committee of PACE in plenary session of the Assembly in January 2013, and a further report will be submitted within three years.
