Deputy of Prosecutor General about results for the half-year

In comparison with the first six months of the last year, at the same period of current year a number of crimes in the country have decreased from 11,953 to 10,929 or it is 8.6%. This was on special courses for the chairmen of the OIC said First Deputy of Prosecutor General of Azerbaijan R. Usubov, reports SalamNews news agency.

According to him, the number of robberies decreased by 24.8%, theft from robbery by 46.7%, misappropriation of state property by 17.3% detection rate achieved 86.9% of the crimes committed. Deputy of Prosecutor General stressed that the number of crimes committed with particular cruelty, in Azerbaijan in the 90s of the last century was 500-600. Today, this number has decreased to 180-190.

“Currently, a number of unsolved crimes are 15-16. In subsequent years, we will provide disclosure of these crimes. It is remained unsolved five crimes for the half six months. Its disclosure will be provided until the end of this year”, – said R. Usubov.
